Accounts group the people and deals that belong to the same company, so you see one business (its contacts, open and won deals, and the whole timeline) instead of scattered records.

How are accounts created?
Automatically. When a lead arrives with a business email, Finocket reads the domain and files the lead under that company’s account, creating it if it’s new and naming it from the domain (“acme-corp.co.in” becomes “Acme Corp”). Personal addresses like Gmail or Yahoo never create a company.
What does an account show?
The account page carries the company’s GSTIN, state, industry and annual revenue, everyone you know there, its deals (open, won and lost), and a single newest-first timeline of activity across all of them, so a second enquiry from the same company lands with full context.
Open AccountsYour companies, each with its people and dealsWho do I actually call?
Open an account and you’ll see People by role: the company’s contacts filed by what they do for you, not by what their business card says. Pick a role (compliance lead, safety officer, facility manager, quality, operations, legal, finance, purchase, HR, IT, admin, or reception) and outreach can target that role instead of the general line.
Seniority is a second, separate setting: owner, director, department head, manager or executive. A facilities head and a facilities executive are both reachable, but only one of them signs, so the roster puts the senior person first.
Mark one person as the primary for a role and that becomes the default for that role at that company. You can only have one primary per role, so there’s never a question of which safety officer we mean. Free-text job titles are untouched and still show under the name.
